LUMORA ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Lumora platform and its AI companion Luna, how that information is used, and the choices you have.
By using Lumora, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
Luna can remember things you choose to share — your name, interests, how you're feeling. This memory is stored as structured text entries linked to your account. You can view all memories from the Memories panel and delete individual entries or all memories at once. Memories are never shared with other users, used for advertising, or sold to third parties.
Your messages and relevant memory summaries are sent to OpenAI's API to generate Luna's responses. OpenAI processes this data under their API Data Usage Policy. As of this policy's date, OpenAI does not use API data to train models by default. We do not send your email or billing information to OpenAI.
Your account data, conversation history, memories, and subscription status are stored in a hosted Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with encrypted storage and access controls that restrict data to authenticated requests from the Lumora backend only.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, email lumora.support.eu@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You may request full account deletion at any time by emailing lumora.support.eu@gmail.com. All account data, conversation history, and memory entries will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Cancel any active Premium subscription before requesting deletion to avoid further charges.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Lumora after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
By creating an account or using the Lumora platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use Lumora.
You agree to use Lumora only for lawful purposes. You must not:
Luna is an AI companion powered by large language models. Her responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Do not rely on Luna for professional medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical advice. Lumora makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.
By subscribing to Premium, you agree to pay the applicable monthly fee (currently €14.99/month). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through PayPal on a recurring basis. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and Premium access remains active until that date. We may change pricing with reasonable notice, effective at your next renewal.
You may close your account at any time by contacting lumora.support.eu@gmail.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, abusive behaviour, or actions that pose risk to other users or the platform. Termination for cause may not include a refund for unused subscription periods.
All trademarks, design elements, software, and content comprising the Lumora platform are our intellectual property and may not be copied or distributed without permission. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including loss of data, loss of profits, or harm from reliance on AI-generated content. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding a claim. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by applicable EU law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
This policy explains how billing and refunds work for Lumora Premium subscriptions.
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, through PayPal. PayPal charges the full monthly fee on the day your subscription begins and again on the same day each subsequent month.
Premium subscription payments are generally non-refundable. Because access to all Premium features is granted immediately upon payment, we do not issue refunds for unused days within a billing period.
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting lumora.support.eu@gmail.com. When you cancel, your Premium access remains fully active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again. No partial refund is issued for remaining days.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a digital subscription contract within 14 days — unless they have expressly consented to immediate service delivery and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal lapses upon commencement. By activating Premium, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge this.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Lumora uses browser storage mechanisms — including cookies and local storage — to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for Lumora to function. Without them you cannot sign in or use the service. We do not require your consent for these cookies.
When you sign in, Supabase sets an authentication session in your browser's local storage. This session identifies your account and expires automatically after inactivity. Authentication is handled entirely through Supabase — no data is shared with advertising networks.
We may store lightweight preference data in your browser's local storage, such as interface settings or dismissed notifications. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We may in the future integrate a privacy-respecting analytics tool. Any such integration will avoid fingerprinting or cross-site tracking. We will update this policy and request your consent before setting analytics cookies where required by law.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Lumora. Clearing local storage will sign you out and reset locally stored preferences.
