Luna remembers what matters to you so every conversation feels personal. Your conversations and memories are stored securely and are never shared with other users. All data is used only to improve your personal experience — never sold or shared with third parties.
LUMORA ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Lumora platform and its AI companion Luna, how that information is used, and the choices you have.
By using Lumora, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
We collect the following categories of data:
Luna can remember things you share with her — your name, interests, how you're feeling, or anything else you choose to tell her. This memory is stored as structured text entries in our database and is linked to your account.
Memories help Luna give you more personal and consistent responses across different conversations. You can view all memories Luna holds about you at any time from the Memories panel, and you can delete individual memories or all memories at once.
Memories are not shared with other users, are not used for advertising, and are not sold to third parties.
Your messages and relevant memory summaries are sent to OpenAI's API to generate Luna's responses. OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their API Data Usage Policy. As of the date of this policy, OpenAI does not use API data to train their models by default.
We pass only the context necessary to generate a helpful response. We do not send your email address or billing information to OpenAI.
Your account data, conversation history, memories, and subscription status are stored in a hosted Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. Supabase provides encrypted storage with access controls that restrict data access to authenticated requests from the Lumora backend only.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing lumora.support.eu@gmail.com. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your account data, conversation history, and all memory entries within 30 days.
Note that if you have an active Premium subscription, you should cancel it before requesting account deletion to avoid further charges.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of Lumora after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
By creating an account or using the Lumora platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lumora. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
You agree to use Lumora only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

Luna is an AI companion powered by large language models. Her responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. You should not rely on Luna's responses as professional advice in medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical matters.
Luna does not have access to real-time information and cannot browse the internet unless explicitly told otherwise. Any factual claims she makes should be independently verified when accuracy is important.
Lumora makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.
Lumora offers a Premium subscription plan that provides additional features and higher usage limits. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable monthly fee (currently €14.99/month).
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through PayPal. You authorise PayPal to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your Premium access remains active until that date.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will be communicated by email and will take effect at your next renewal after the notice period.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms of Service, engaged in abusive or fraudulent behaviour, or used the service in a way that poses a risk to other users or to the platform. In the event of termination for cause, we may not issue a refund for any unused subscription period.
All trademarks, design elements, software, and content comprising the Lumora platform (excluding user-generated content) are the intellectual property of Lumora and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without express written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the service. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving Lumora.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lumora and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service — including, without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable EU law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Lumora following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email.
We want every Lumora member to feel confident in their subscription. This policy explains how billing and refunds work for Premium subscriptions.
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, through PayPal. When you subscribe, PayPal charges the full monthly fee on the day your subscription begins, and again on the same day each subsequent month.
Premium subscription payments are generally non-refundable. Because access to all Premium features is granted immediately upon payment, we do not issue refunds for unused days within a billing period.
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from the Subscription section of your Settings, or by contacting us at lumora.support.eu@gmail.com.
When you cancel, your Premium access remains fully active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days in the period.
We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. If you are located in the European Union or another jurisdiction that provides mandatory cancellation or refund rights for digital services, those rights remain unaffected by this policy.
In the EU, consumers who purchase a digital subscription have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase — unless they have expressly consented to immediate service delivery and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal lapses upon commencement of the service. By activating your Premium subscription, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge this.
